Because once the users get addicted to the drug, they will often use all of their money on the drug they are addicted to. As a result of this, the user becomes unstable in situations and they will have to start borrowing money and get into debt because of the drugs they are buying. Once a person in considered addicted to a drug, they do not consider what is at stake. As a matter of fact, all they want is to get their hands on the drug they need.
